House Construction Day

Today, Room 11 and Room 12 had a very busy time planning, designing and creating houses together that displayed some renewable energy source to power them. Below are some pictures and reflections from their learning experience.

Today we learnt that we can’t use too much petrol and coal. Then we designed and created our own house. Our house has a windmill to power our house. My favourite part was when we made the slide. It was fun. By Izzy

Today we were making Energy Houses. I learnt that we can use solar power to power stuff up like computers. then we designed and created. We put a roof on the house for the solar power. Our house has a big farm on dirt and a house with a boat. My favourite part was painting because I would like to be an artist one day. Next time I will put more effort in it.

Today we were making extremely cool energy houses and I learnt how to make houses and energy like solar power and wind power. Then we designed and created the cool houses. My electricity works with solar power. My favourite part was when we planned our house at morning tea. Next time I will make two pools and three cars because my group will be rich.

Today we learnt that you don’t need to flick the light switch on because you can just open the curtain. Then we designed and created our house. It has a wind mill to power it. My favourite was rushing it. Next time I will be more careful because I nearly tripped.

Today we learnt that when you are not using the light turn it off because it will waste power. For our house we put in a wind mill. The windmill makes the water pool and bath to get warm. Next time I will make it good.
