Steamers Visit About Using Our W.I.T.S

Today three of the Steamers visited us. Do any of you children remember who they were? They talked about how to use our W.I.T.S.  What does that stand for? We learnt how to take care of ourselves if we get bullied. It was a great time. Luca even got selected to ride on one of the Steamers' back while there was a push up competition going on!

Marvellous Manaakitia Memories

Manaakitia Show

Last Friday the whole school did a show called Manaakitia and it was very cool. My favourite song was ‘Catching Lots of Fish.’ Our song was ‘Sea Song’. I was a cartwheeler, Oskah was a red octopus and Kian was golden sand. I wore a shiny shirt and white shorts. For my hair I had a mohawk with glitter in it. We had to wear make-up. I felt very nervous, because there were lots and lots of people there. My mom and dad were very proud of me because I danced with a big smily smile.

Our Production

When it was the production I was thrilled. I put my leggings first. Secondly, I put my leotard on. Next, I got to put on my pretty little skirt. Then I walked to Holy Trinity Church. It was as huge as the sky. It was fantastic and the production was called Manaakitia! Then we did our dance with room 15. When the show was nearly finished we did ‘I am the Earth’. I got excited. The end.

Manaakitia Production

Last week we did the production! Our song was called ‘Sea Song’. My favourite songs were the ‘Rain Forest Rap’ and ‘Shake Your Tail Feather’. We did our cool show at the Holy Trinity Church. For our song, our characters were golden sand, naughty pollution, swishing waves and green seaweed and cartwheelers. Our production was called Manakitia. The first song we sang was Manaakitia and second song we sang was another Manaakitia one. The boys in that show did a haka. After that there were kids dressed up as a bird. The last song was called ‘Save the Planet’.

Father's Day Stories

On Father's Day I got Dad some Favourite's, cherry ripe's and a lotto ticket. He could win 2 million dollars. I made toast with my mum for my dad. He even bounced on the tramp with me. I love my dad, because he loves me.

On Sunday me and my Dad went to the boat club to go on a boat, but we missed the boat. So, we went to the park. Then we went to McDonalds to get some ice-cream. Then we went back home.

About my dad. my dad is amazing bnecause he cooks my favourite food. On Sunday we went to Rotorua, because it was a special Father's Day and after all that long drive we got to Skyline. It was soooo high that it gave me a little scare. I love the luge because it's like a little mini car and I drive it.

On Father's Day we made breakfast for my dad. He had honey on toast. After that we went to the Redwoods. When we got there we got our bikes off the rack. Then, wooosh, we're off. First, we do the Dipper and we did lots of jumps. When we got back,  we went out for lunch, because it is Father's Day. I love my Dad so much because he takes us out fishing all the time.
