Our Imaginative Story Writers

Kian

On a hot summer day a monster came in an old lady's garden and he munched up the flowers. After that, he was extremely tired. So, he went to bed and then the old lady came out and she said to his family, "There's a monster here."    By Izzy and Lily-May

Mihi

We have each been working on writing our own Mihi. We have need to fill in our mountain, river, town we were born in, our parents' names  and our name.

Here we are practicing saying our Mihi.

Our last step is to now create our picture of ourselves.

Ruben, The Road Safety Bear

Last week, Room 11 visited Ruben the Bear to learn some important road skills. This is especially important with a potential increase in road traffic.

We learnt a song with actions to 'Stop, look, listen and link'.

We practised crossing on a roll-out pedestrian crossing.

Finally, we listened to a story about road safety.
